"Finally... is CBD Better Than Aspirin...?

Probably if you search on internet you will find many post's wich claims that CBD is better or stronger than Aspirin.

And probably you are so quite sure about the safety of Aspirin, in  point that you may be laugh...

So, lets take a closer look to Aspirin and to CBD and lets see what we will find out!!!

Aspirin, also known as acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), is a medication used to treat painfever, or inflammation. Specific inflammatory conditions which aspirin is used to treat include Kawasaki diseasepericarditis, and rheumatic fever.Aspirin given shortly after a heart attack decreases the risk of death. Aspirin is also used long-term to help prevent further heart attacks, ischaemic strokes, and blood clots in people at high risk. It may also decrease the risk of certain types of cancer, particularly colorectal cancer.

"Is Cannabis More Effective Than Aspirin? The Role of Flavonoids..."

In a previous article we have found evidence that CBD is more efective than Aspirin, h
owever, a recent study has shed new light into medical properties of cannabis most pertinently, the power of flavonoids.

There have been many studies which have looked into the analgesic properties of cannabis.

It has even been suggested that the plant could help reduce a person’s reliance on opioids as a painkiller.

For a long time, the assumption has been that cannabinoids such as THC and CBD are responsible for the plant’s potential painkilling properties.

When cannflavins A and B were first identified over three decades ago, it was already known that they provided anti-inflammatory effects up to 30 times greater than what is provided by Aspirin on a gram-by-gram basis.

What Are Flavonoids?

It is genuinely interesting that the flavonoids in marijuana could be responsible for much of its anti-inflammatory properties, yet we know relatively little about this diverse group of plant chemicals. In reality, you will find these phytonutrients in almost all fruits and vegetables. Along with carotenoids, flavonoids are responsible for the colors in the fruit and vegetables we eat.

"University of Guelph Researchers Unlock Access to Pain Relief Potential of Cannabis"

Researchers of the University of Guelph are the first to uncover how the cannabis plant creates important pain-relieving molecules that are 30 times more powerful at reducing inflammation than Aspirin.
Tuesday, July 23, 2019

The discovery unlocks the potential to create a naturally derived pain treatment that would offer potent relief without the risk of addiction of other painkillers.

“There’s clearly a need to develop alternatives for relief of acute and chronic pain that go beyond opioids,” said Prof. Tariq Akhtar, Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, who worked on the study with MCB professor Steven Rothstein. “These molecules are non-psychoactive and they target the inflammation at the source, making them ideal painkillers.”

Using a combination of biochemistry and genomics, the researchers were able to determine how cannabis makes two important molecules called cannflavin A and cannflavin B.

"How Does CBD Help With Exercise"?

Why are athletes using CBD supplements, and what can CBD do for your exercise routine?

Last year the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) made a big change: though they still do not allow athletes to utilize medical cannabis, they’re allowing for athletes to use only CBD supplements.

Though the WADA doesn’t govern all anti-doping regulations, they do set the tone, and other anti-doping authorities are likely to follow this line.

Athletes now have more freedom to access the health and wellness benefits of CBD, without being disqualified from competing.

CBD for Sports: “It Helps”

The WADA change came after MMA fighter Nate Diaz took a drag from a CBD vaporizer pen during a post-fight press conference, in direct violation of the rules, and explained the benefits he experienced from the supplement: “It helps with the healing process and inflammation and things like that, so you want to get these for before or after the fights, in training. It’ll make your life a better place,” Nate Diaz told press, potentially endangering his career.

Rather than ruining his career, Diaz opened the way for more athletes to use cannabidiol (CBD) to supplement and support their exercise regimen. CBD supplements can be great both pre- and post-workout to prevent inflammation like Diaz pointed out, but that’s not all. Research shows that CBD can improve recovery, especially after injury, reduce pain and muscle spasms, improve sleep, and stimulate appetite.

"The Antimicrobial Activities of Phytocannabinoids"

antimicrobial use of cannabinoid. Mycannashop
Novel antimicrobial drugs are urgently needed to counteract the increasing occurrence of bacterial resistance.

Extracts of Cannabis sativa have been used for the treatment of several diseases since ancient times.

It has been demonstrated that several cannabinoids show potent antimicrobial activity against primarily Gram-positive bacteria including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). As first in vivo efficacy has been demonstrated recently, it is time to discuss whether cannabinoids are promising antimicrobial drug candidates or overhyped intoxicants with benefits.

The worldwide spread of bacterial resistance against market antibiotics has been identified as one of the major threats to public health by scientists and healthcare authorities. Thus, new antibacterial strategies and antibacterial compounds are urgently needed to counteract the increasing occurrence of antibiotic-resistant and, especially, multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens, to keep the live-saving advantages toward bacterial pathogens.

In 2017, the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized the crucial need for antimicrobial drug development against a group of 13 different genii, families, and specific species of pathogenic bacteria. The real problem is that the vast majority of these prioritized bacterial pathogens are drug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria.

However, antimicrobial resistances are also increasing in Gram-positive bacteria and, among the high priority pathogens, the Gram-positive pathogen Staphylococcus aureus is the leading cause of both healthcare and community-associated infections worldwide, and a major cause for morbidity as well as mortality.

"The Begining of Western Medicine"

The Begining of Western Medicine Mycannashop
Our little story begins from the Middle Ages and with two powerful and very profitable products... Opium & Oil.

In 1803 Friedrich Sertuerner  discovers an active ingredient in opium which if you dissolved in acid and then neutralizing it with ammonia result of this is... Morphine.

Morphine was not only the first alkaloid to be extracted from opium, but the first ever alkaloid to be isolated from plant.

In 1827 E. Merck & Company of Darmstadt, begins the commercial manufacturing of morphine for healing purposes.  It would become a dominant manufacturer of morphine, codeine and cocaine.

When we think of Bayer we think of aspirin, definitly not heroin.... but in 1895 Bayer Company of Elberfeld, finds that diluting morphine with acetyls produces a drug without the common morphine side effects and the name for this new compound... Heroin

And where you find acetyls to produce heroin?  Where did the acetyls come from?  Well, just like today they come from petrochemicals, and sudenly all this led us to a name.... "John D. Rockefeller" the oil baron...
